 Riviera Children  

- Sharing Jesus with children 3 years - 5th grade and helping them to:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways remember him. Then he will make your paths smooth and straight."

During the 10:00 a.m. worship service (following the Spotlight on Children) children (3 year olds who are able to sit for a period of time through rising 5th graders) are invited to leave the sanctuary and head to Children's Worship for a time of worship (music and prayer) and teaching (object lessons, skits, videos, interactive stories, etc.) that is fun, noisy, active, and designed just for them!  Parents are welcome to join their children at any time during Children's Worship. 

During the school year, we utilize the United Methodist curriculum, LIVE B.I.G. (Live your Belief In God) in Children's Worship and during our Small Group time immediately following. 

During the month of September our theme on Sunday mornings is: God Chooses Us!  We believe that God chooses ordinary people to make a difference in God's world. Our memory verse is: And God said, "I will be with you."  Exodus 3:12

If your young child chooses not to attend Children's Worship, Worship Bags are available for their use during the service.  They will find all kinds of fun activities in them to do while sitting with their parents in the worship serivce.

For your Calendar:

CLUB 45 - a midweek time for our rising 4th and 5th graders!  Join us each Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Bring your dinner (covered up, picked up or bagged up!) and your bible. Come for games, bible study, prayer and fun with new friends!

Parent's Night Out

Saturday, September 25th

5:30 - 9:00 p.m.

TLC (and !fun!) for infants through 5th graders

Dinner, crafts, games, movies, snacks

$10.00 per child/maximum $25.00 per family

Pre-registration a must!

Other opportunities for Riviera Children and their families throughout the year include Worship Dance, Vacation Bible School, Advent Adventures, Agape' Party, Easter Eggstravaganza and egg hunt/dash, Bible presentations to our rising 4th graders followed by a "Using Your Bible" class, older elementary summer Bible Studies, and UM Summer Camp in Leesburg (4th & 5th graders), among others.
