3's Class
May message from Mrs. Vermette...
I can't believe the school year is over. This year has gone by amazingly fast. Over these next few weeks, we will just be enjoying our time together in class, and also indulging in a little bit of science. The children have worked so hard throughout the year. I want them to have time to just have fun with each other before we break for summer. Please double check your time slot for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Conferences are Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th. Tina will be available to watch our students; however she will not be able to watch siblings.
We will be celebrating summer birthdays on Tuesday, May 20th and Wednesday, May 21st. If any of our birthday mom's would like to purchase a special snack for the class, please let me know.
Our end of the year parties will be held at Crisp Park (behind Publix at NE Shopping Center) on Thursday, May 22nd and Friday, May 23rd. Please do not come to school. You may drive straight to the park. Click here if you need directions. The parties are from 9-noon. I will have sign-up sheets for snacks and drinks located on the art cart for the parties. If you will not be staying for the parties, please be sure to arrive back at the park to pick up your child promptly at noon. Please join us if you can - we would love to see you there!
Lastly, Mrs. Gordon and I would like to say that it has been our sincere honor teaching your child this year. We have enjoyed every moment with them. They have grown so much since the star of the school year. I hope that they have enjoyed their time with us, but most importantly, I hope they know how much they were loved! As I said to many of you in conferences, I am a firm believer that a child's success is based on the involvement of the parents. You are all exceptional! Thank you so much for your patience and support throughout the year. Best wishes for a relaxing and safe summer! We will miss you all so much!
