~2009 Vacation Bible School~
We began our summer with a week at the Crocodile Dock. . . and what a week it was!
We are grateful to our congregation, friends and neighbors for . . . .decorating. . . cooking, serving and cleaning up. . . sharing God's love. . . teaching. . . registering. . . people moving. . . watching for God. . . singing and dancing. . . playing great and creative games. . . crafting, painting, blanket making. . . sharing "God Sightings". . . caring for little ones in the Nursery. . . selling our CD's. . . taking pictures. . . welcoming our families. . . providing for our volunteers. . .running errands. . . creating the Daily Dock newsletter. . .making signs. . .donating money. . . setting up tables and chairs. . . running the sound board. . . bringing in baked goods, water and fruit. . . and doing it all with a servant heart!
**This summer, our VBS provided 50 blankets to be given to children in our community who are in need of emergency foster care shelter. These blankets were made by our children during our Craft/Mission time each evening and dedicated during our Firefly Finale at the end of our week together. **
