Kids Church | 10:00am
We believe it's extremely important for families to spend some time worshiping together, so kids and their families start out Sunday morning together in the Sanctuary (10:00am worship). During the first half of worship, children 3 years old through 5th grade are invited up front for a short kids moment. From there, children 3 years old and under can join their friends in the nursery and Pre-K and older children can head to Kid's Church. Families can join their kids at any point and can pick them up when worship concludes.
Kid's Church is a time geared for Pre-K through 5th graders to learn about God while having fun, being loud, going a little kooky, and meeting friends.
The kids will worship through music and prayer, and learn through hands on activities, videos, drama, art, and more. We encourage families to talk to their kids afterward and see what they experienced!
Any children who choose to stay with family during worship are welcome to grab a Kids Worship bag in the back of the sanctuary. They're filled with some fun activities! Please return the bags at the end of worship.
From September through May all 4th and 5th graders are invited to our mid-week small group. Kids bring their own dinner. We eat and have fellowship on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:00. From 5:00- 6:00, we have games, prayer, Bible study, and fun for an hour!
If you have any questions please contact Director of Children's Ministries, Christina Baldwin-Bascom, through the church office or by email Christina@RivieraUMC.org .
