Pastor | John Frank
Pastor John and his wife Joyce first came to serve at Riviera in July of 2019. They have been married for 25 years, and have three adult children together. Previously, John was senior pastor at Baldwin UMC, just west of Jacksonville, FL. 

John has a passion for preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is relevant and that connects with people today. Both John and Joyce are actively working to reach out into the greater community with the Good News of God’s love for all.


Director of Worship | Will Newton
Will joined our team in December of 2018. He previously served as the Director of Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity (S.U.R.E.), and before that as the Director of Contemporary Worship at First UMC Coral Springs, and before that as the Director at FSU Wesley in Tallahassee. Will is married to Ginny and has just begun seminary at Fuller, and he plans to become a pastor in the United Methodist Church.

Church Administrative Assistant | Bonnie Culotta has been our Administrative Assistant for over 29 years and has a great gift for caring and welcoming people to Riviera. Bonnie and her husband Jim are long time residents of St. Petersburg and have an adult son.  She is an avid baseball fan and enjoys following the Rays.


Nursery Coordinator | Ronda Ard


Custodian | Marc Perez has been our custodian since 2005. Marc is truly a local. He was born at Bayfront Medical Center, grew up 3 blocks from the church, and participated in Cub Scouts here at Riviera when he was in elementary school. Marc and his wife Kristina have been married for 29 years. They have two boys who were homeschooled by mom.  Both participated in the youth programs here at the church, and have helped dad with keeping the church looking its best.
