This week includes Mary's birthday, school meetings, my Provisional Elder Interview, and Fred Sherman's Celebration of Life on Friday at 11 am. To say it's a busy week would be an understatement. This week we start a new sermon Series - "Like, Follow, Subscribe," a contemporary play on the words "Evangelism, Discipleship, Serve." I hope you'll join us this Sunday as we talk about the present of your presence! We'll look at Hebrews 10:19-25 and think about what it means to be more than regular attenders, but welcomers to all who are looking for a place of grace and hospitality!

Children's Church (Except 1st Sundays):
Children's Church: Children are invited to join our amazing volunteers for a fun, engaging Children’s Church experience designed just for them. We can’t wait to welcome them! On the first Sunday of the month, the children are invited to remain in worship for communion.
Youth Group
Youth Group will not meet this Sunday, September 6th. Resumes Sunday, September 13, from 5:30-7:30 PM.
Labor Day - Church Office
The church office will be closed on Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.
RDS School Spirit
Join us for RDS School Spirit on Wednesday, September 9 at Culver’s Night from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Senior Fitness is now at Riviera UMC!
Join Foresight Fitness for classes designed for all fitness levels, including Strength & Balance, Chair Yoga, Chair Pilates, and Zumba Gold. Classes are offered from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Self-pay and Medicare Part C accepted. For information or registration, call 1-888-258-2801.

Interested in sponsoring a meal for Sunday Youth Group?
Youth Group meets on Sundays from 5:30–7:30 PM, and we typically need enough food for 15–20 students and leaders. You can sponsor a meal by preparing food yourself or by ordering, picking up, and delivering a meal to the church. Examples include pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs, mac and cheese, chicken tenders with a side dish, Chipotle platters, or taco platters.
